Interface Mission ensures the implementation of the base funding programme for interface institutions between academia, defence and enterprises, with the objective of boosting these connections, namely through the creation of knowledge transfer infrastructures, such as the CTI and CoLAB. It is guided by 4 lines of action, under which CTI Aeroespacial falls:
1 - TECHNOLOGICAL AND MARKET FORESIGHT
Preparation of market studies in the aerospace sector, including the systematic identification of opportunities and needs, the identification of new products, processes and services, and mapping of trends and technological and consumer trajectories.
Planning, fundraising, management and materialisation of research, development and innovation activities (technological, product, process and service) in the Space sector, within the areas of security, defence and sustainability.

3 - BUSINESS TRAINING AND QUALIFICATION
Technical and technological support, as well as qualification of the industry associated with the aerospace sector.
4 - PROMOTION, DISSEMINATION AND INTERNATIONALISATION
Dissemination of information to sector players, including the holding of workshops, demonstration actions, dissemination and sharing of knowledge, and activities associated with promotion and internationalisation, such as scientific articles.
